Pesto's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

Went for happy hour on a Saturday evening. The indoors was popping, so we sat outside because it was beautiful out, even though no one was out there. Had their hh Alfredo bowl, calamari and 6" pizza (for my 2 year old), along with stuffed mushrooms from their main menu. Everything was delicious! Was shocked that their hh menu had so many good selections and the portions were pretty decent. The service was phenomenal!

The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is alluring with a tinge of of coziness. Great place to share an experience with someone new or your significant other. The service we received was lacking the attentiveness and care that we observed the other tables receiving. We felt as though we were an afterthought instead of a paying customer. I still recommend the restaurant and we'll most likely return ourselves for the food and the atmosphere.

We stumbled onto Pesto's a couple of weeks ago and have already eaten there twice. The food has been outstanding both times—remarkably consistent and genuinely excellent. The salad dressings are great. The pizza is phenomenal, with a crust that’s easily some of the best I’ve had since moving to the Chandler area. The pastas are excellent, and the desserts are on another level. The tiramisu is hands-down the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Even the coffee is excellent. Service is just as strong as the food. The servers are attentive without being overbearing, drinks are always kept full, and the bussers are on top of everything. You’re never left waiting or wondering if you’ve been forgotten. This place is doing everything right—great food, great staff, and a well-run operation. I highly recommend Pesto’s to anyone looking for outstanding Italian food and truly excellent pizza.

Consistently 5 stars. I have been going for 28 years and I have tried most things on the menu. I love the lasagna with a dollop of white sauce. The melon salad is also incredible. This has been our neighborhood restaurant for decades. I highly recommend it.

This place is a pearl. You gotta look really close to discover it’s so precious. Love every meal, every moment. The atmosphere is very cozy and the food is spectacular. It’s my favorite Italian place now.

Solid Italian food! Moderate price point. Lackluster lunch special options, but this is clearly a more dinner oriented place. Still, would love to see something more exciting than cheese pizza or spaghetti and marinara on the lunch specials. Maybe a small portion of a more exciting pasta with a salad? Anyway, ordered off the full menu at lunch, got the mushroom pasta and added sausage. Everything tasted very fresh and good quality. Iced tea was good, flavorful, and fresh. Good portion size. Would absolutely return and recommend.

I saw this on a local food review show and decided to try it out. They recommended making a reservation and yes you will definitely want to make a reservation. They were really busy buy they had wait staff check in on us every few minutes. Watters were refilled and plates picked up without ever having to even think about it. We tried a few appetizers, pizza, and pasta. Everything was delicious. I also tried the Mediterranean Mule drink which was really refreshing. Setting is really nice. You completely forget you are in a strip mall between a smoke shop and dentist. Prices were actually pretty good for a nice Italian restaurant. Overall I highly recommend this place!
